A Bụ M Nwa-Afo Igbo is a digital awareness and cultural promotion campaign created to
celebrate Igbo identity, values, creativity, and youth expression. The campaign provides a platform
for participants to tell their stories through short bio videos, showcasing what it truly means to be a proud Igbo son or daughter in today’s world.
Selected videos will be published on our official Facebook page, where public engagement will
determine the winner. The participant whose video receives the highest number of valid likes will
emerge as the winner of the campaign.
Objective of the Campaign

Eligibility
- Open to individuals of Igbo origin
- Participants must be at least 18 years old
- Participants must provide accurate personal details during registration
- One entry per participant

Steps to Apply
- Register on the Campaign Portal
Complete the registration form with correct personal details. - Upload a Bio Video
Record a short video introducing yourself and expressing what
“A Bụ M Nwa-Afo Igbo” means to you. The expression must be in Igbo language. - Submit Your Application
Review your details and submit the form successfully. - Video Publication
Approved videos will be manually uploaded to our official Facebook page
by the campaign organizers.
Bio Video Guideline
- Video must clearly show the participant’s face
- Video should be clear, audible, and free from background noise
- Content must be respectful, positive, and culturally appropriate
- No abusive, offensive, political, or hate-related content
- Maximum video length (if applicable): as stated on the application form
Voting & Winner Selection
- Voting is done exclusively on Facebook
- The winner will be determined by the highest number of valid likes on their published video
- Likes from fake, automated, or suspicious accounts will not be counted
- The campaign organizers reserve the right to audit likes at any time
Rules and Conditions
- Each participant is allowed only one entry
- Registration details must be truthful and verifiable
- Videos become campaign property for promotional use
- Organizers reserve the right to approve or reject submissions
- Decisions of the organizers are final
Grounds for Disqualification
A participant may be disqualified if any of the following occurs:
- Submission of false or misleading information
- Uploading multiple entries under different identities
- Use of fake accounts, bots, or paid likes to influence voting
- Posting offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
- Violation of Facebook community standards
- Failure to comply with campaign rules
